Who owns our data?
The club does. Your members, your bookings and your ledger belong to you. We're the software, not the landlord. If you ever leave, your data leaves with you.
What about POPIA and GDPR?
We built Homeground OS for a global market and designed the platform for POPIA and GDPR. Member data stays for club purposes only. Staff roles limit who sees what. Card details go through your merchant account provider, and we never store them.
How do we migrate from our current system?
By import. Send us a CSV of your members in whatever shape you've got, and our importer does the rest. Send the file, go live in a week.
What hardware do we need?
Any modern iPad or Android tablet for the tills, plus a standard barcode scanner and receipt printer. There's no proprietary hardware, and nothing to lease from us.
Do we have to take every module?
No. Homeground OS is separate modules on one engine. Run the tills without competitions, or memberships without the kitchen, and add modules the day you need them. The accounting underneath always runs, though. The books never switch off.
How customisable is the platform?
Properly, per club. Your membership categories, your staff roles, your sheets and your words. A tee sheet at a golf club is a rink sheet at a bowls club. And configuration is part of going live, not an extra.
